The Selwyn Giving Tree will be set up in the front office starting Friday, December 5th. It will have approximately 90 snowflakes, each representing a Selwyn child or sibling in need. Selwyn parents may come to the office and sign out a snowflake. The snowflake lists a child’s wish/gift, and most requests will cost $15 or less. Please bring these gifts (in a gift bag if possible) to the front office by December 17th. Questions? Please contact Barbara Climer.
Please take a second to go onto the CMS volunteer registration page https://www.cmsvolunteers.com and confirm that you are:
- currently registered as a CMS volunteer and;
- one of your selected schools is Selwyn.
This is crucial as CMS policy prohibits in school volunteering as well as out of school field trip chaperoning without this important registration piece. This will be strictly enforced so please take a minute to ensure your account is up to date. Questions? Contact Megan Anderson.
We have two new products to showcase, a ladies-fit tee and a girls black tee with sparkly blue Selwyn logo. Click here to order yours! Thanks for your patience with our new school store process. Please contact us with information about orders that have not been received within five school days.
Selwyn will host an Open House on October 9, 2014 at 7:00 pm in the Media Center for families with a rising 2015-16 kindergartener. Please spread the word to friends and neighbors!
Red Ribbon Reading materials were sent home last week in your child’s backpack. Please help your child collect pledge money and return it in the completed collection envelope, along with their reading chart, to your child’s teacher by Friday, September 19. This year you may donate online by clicking here. If you donate online, we still need the collection envelope, with your signature verifying hours read, and your child’s reading chart returned. If you qualify for matching funds, please read the corporate matching information sheet that came home with your child’s RRR materials. To see a list of the matching gift companies click here. Questions? Please contact Kerri Porter.
