Parents interested in serving on the SLT next year must complete this form to be included on the SLT ballot.
There are four vacant spots to fill for a three-year term beginning August, 2018. Elections will be held during SCARTS on Thursday, May 3. We’ll ask you to briefly stand and be introduced during the general PTA meeting that evening.
If you are a parent of a Rising Kindergartner or if you know families who have a child coming to Selwyn next year, please urge them to register their student in the front office today!
Selwyn’s Spring Book Fair takes place in the Media Center on April 30 – May 4. Classes will visit the Book Fair during the school day. Parents will be notified when your child’s class will visit.
Families are also encouraged to visit the Book Fair during Selwyn Celebrates the Arts on the evening of May 3. Please note that the Book Fair now charges sales tax on purchases.
Please help us to make the Book Fair a success! Volunteers are needed to set up before the Book Fair, to assist shoppers and run cash registers during class visits, and to help clean up afterward. To see the available shifts and to sign up, please click here.
Help beautify the Selwyn Campus this spring season by coming out anytime between 1:00 and 4:00 pm Saturday, April 21. Bring your gardening gloves and non-powered yard tools and join us as we clear out the weeds and trash, spread new pine needles and plant new plants.

The SCARTS (Selwyn Celebrates the Arts) Committee needs your help to prepare for our annual spring art and music event. The committee needs volunteers to prepare and hang artwork.

Calling all our awesome Selwyn Dads! On Friday, April 13th we will be holding our Spring Eagle Dads Volunteer Day. We would love for our Dads to have an outstanding presence at Selwyn by helping with morning carpool, serving as lunchroom monitors and assisting with campus clean-up items. We have added some afternoon spots, so come grab your child(ren), help out around Selwyn and head out to celebrate your work with all the other wonderful Dads!
We also ask that you check your child’s class calendar to see if there is a need to help a special area teacher on that day for your child’s class. Come join in the fun!! Refreshments will be served in the parent room.

Selwyn’s Annual Staff Appreciation Week will be March 12-16. Please join us in celebrating our teachers and staff with festive treats and eats throughout the week. Volunteer opportunities will be posted soon! On Friday, March 16, we will send all staff and bus drivers home with gift cards.
